After a stressful couple of years, Mary J Blige dusts off her crown and takes her place on the throne on this month's issue of Ebony magazine.
R&B royalty Mary J. Blige claims her throne on the cover of Ebony Magazine’s Spring issue. The singer and actress is a vision in an elegant red dress as she reclines on an ornate gold throne.
With two Oscar nominations and several projects on the way, there is no doubt that Mary J Blige is enjoying her time in the spotlight. The singer, who first shot to fame in 1992 with her debut album 'Whats the 411', has since been honoured with various nominations and accolades including nine Grammys, three Golden Globe nominations and two Oscar nominations.
In the magazine, she talks about her forthcoming Netflix project, ‘Umbrella Academy,’ as well as other forthcoming projects. She also talks about her history-making Academy Award ‘Best Supporting Actress’ nomination for her work on the critically-acclaimed film, ‘Mudbound.’
